White Park

White Park is a detached three-bedroom barn conversion for six near Launceston. Two doubles and one twin are matched by three bathrooms - one per bedroom, an unusually generous ratio - so the group never queues.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area connects with a lounge built around a wood burner. Outside, guests have a private patio and share a larger garden with other visitors, which is worth knowing if fully private outdoor space matters. This is a deep-countryside base rather than a coastal one: Millook Beach is 13.5 miles away, Widemouth Bay is 13.7 miles and Crackington Haven is 14.4 miles. The trade-off is walking country on the doorstep, with Bodmin Moor close, and Tintagel and Bude both workable day trips. Launceston itself has shops, pubs and its Norman castle ruin above the town.
