Newquay Beer Festival runs from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September 2026 at Hendra Holiday Park. Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Club organises the ticketed weekend to raise money for local charities and good causes.

The official site lists beers, ales, ciders, lager, gin, low-alcohol and alcohol-free choices alongside live music and food. Hendra’s cafés and takeaways are available during the weekend, and the festival site names Katie’s Cornish Hot Pots among the catering.

Visitor information

Dates and hours: Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September, noon to 11pm; Sunday 20 September, noon to 6pm.

Venue: Hendra Holiday Park, Lane, Newquay, TR8 4NY.

Admission: Ticketed. The organiser sells advance tickets through its official website. Prices can change by ticket release, so check the site for the current price.

Programme: Live music runs alongside the drinks and food offer. Check the organiser’s current listings for performance times and any age-specific conditions rather than relying on an earlier edition’s line-up.

Staying on site: Visit Newquay says festival ticket holders can contact Hendra about reduced camping rates. Accommodation is booked separately and isn’t included with festival admission.

You may see a stray reference to September 2025 in some listings beneath a 2026 heading - the confirmed dates are 18 to 20 September 2026, as given consistently by the festival’s own site and opening-times panel.

Best Family Hotels in Cornwall

Cornwall has more family-friendly hotel options than most people expect - it is not just cottages and caravan parks. From 4-star cliffside resorts with dedicated kids' clubs and surf schools to Victorian seafront hotels with heated pools and holiday parks with water flumes and beachside lodges, there is a range that spans every budget. The north coast from Bude to Mawgan Porth concentrates the biggest resort hotels, while St Ives and Falmouth offer more classic hotel stays with beaches on the doorstep. One practical note: peak summer weeks (late July and August) at the better-known hotels fill 6 or more months in advance - the Headland and Bedruthan in particular book solid by Christmas for the following summer.
