Praa Sands beach is 800 metres away - a long, west-facing stretch of sand that picks up Atlantic swell and has a surf school operating in season. The beach car park fills early on sunny days, which makes the cottage's off-road parking more useful than it might seem. Rinsey Cove and Prussia Cove are both under 2.5km for quieter alternatives.

The cottage has WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. With 5 bedrooms for 8 guests, the layout suits two families or a mixed group where some guests want their own space. The Germoe area sits between Porthleven and Marazion, giving reasonable road access to Penzance (around 20 minutes) and the Lizard peninsula to the east.

Best for larger family groups or groups of friends with dogs who want a west Cornwall base with beach access and outdoor space. Not great for anyone wanting a town-centre location - Germoe is rural and a car is essential. From £996 per week with Friday changeover.
