The Adrenalin Quarry at Menheniot is a similar distance, with zip wire and aqua park activities.

Dobwalls village is a short drive with a shop and pub. Liskeard, the nearest market town, is 3.1 miles east. The Caradon Trail - a former mineral railway route converted for cycling and walking - runs through the area and is flat enough for most fitness levels.
