Chy Lagen Hos is a single-storey cottage in Quintrell Downs, a village 2 miles south of Newquay, sleeping four across two super-king bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC - a practical advantage for two couples or adults sharing.

The entire layout sits on one floor, which keeps the property accessible and easy to navigate. The open-plan living area brings together the kitchen, dining space, and sitting room, with an open fire at one end. A utility room off the main living space has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher. Both super-king beds are zip-and-link, convertible to twin singles on request.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio with dining table, chairs, and a barbecue. Off-road parking fits two cars. Hens, ducks, and a cat roam the grounds - worth knowing if travelling with pets, as the property is not dog-friendly. Tolcarne Beach and Whipsiderry Beach are both under 3 miles away; Tolcarne Beach is a cliff-sheltered RNLI-lifeguarded crescent with a cafe on the sand.

Quintrell Downs has a village shop and pub within a 10-minute walk. Newquay's 11 beaches, the harbour, and Sea Life Centre are a short drive. Cornwall Airport Newquay is 5 miles from the town centre. Not suitable for children under 8.

**Best for:** Two couples, adults-only groups, or solo travellers wanting convenience to Newquay without being in the town centre. **Less good for:** Families with young children, dog owners, or guests who prefer to walk to the beach.
