East Cliff

East Cliff is a two-bedroom cottage in Polperro with direct views over the working harbour. Sitting on a traffic-free lane in the old village, it looks straight out over the tidal inlet where fishing boats tie up daily. Sleeps four and accepts pets.

The cottage occupies three floors and keeps its original character: exposed beams, window seats in the front-facing rooms, and a double bedroom that follows the harbour through the day - boats leaving at dawn, returning mid-afternoon. Short breaks of four nights minimum are available most of the year.

Walk one way and Polperro's pubs and restaurants are a few minutes away - the village has several traditional inns and a handful of independent restaurants along the main lane. Walk the other and the South West Coast Path starts immediately: Talland Bay is 1.4km along the cliff, and Lekerock Cove 1.2km. The harbour town of Looe is 6 miles east along the coast, and Fowey roughly the same distance west.
