Elin Howlyek is a two-floor duplex apartment on Henver Road in Newquay, sleeping four across two bedrooms. The cottage sits on the eastern side of town, roughly 1.4km from Whipsiderry Beach - a quieter sandy cove tucked below high cliffs, well-regarded for rock pooling and calmer swimming than the main town breaks.

The open-plan living area with kitchen and dining space sits on the first floor, with a balcony and outdoor furniture. The super-king bedroom has an en-suite shower room with heated towel rail. A twin bedroom (zip-link, convertible to a double) shares a second bathroom with a bath. Gas central heating, Smart TV with Sky, and WiFi are included throughout, and a launderette operates about 200 yards along the same road.

Tolcarne Beach - a cliff-sheltered crescent with a cafe on the sand and RNLI lifeguard cover from late May to September - is 1.6km away. Great Western Beach, one of Newquay's central town beaches, is 1.9km. The Newquay town centre shops and restaurants are within walking distance of Henver Road, and the Huer's Hut headland viewpoint is a 20-minute walk west.

Best for: couples or small families wanting dog-friendly Newquay access without town-centre noise. Less good for: guests needing a direct beach walk - both nearest beaches require a car or a longer walk. Off-road parking and two dogs welcome. Saturday changeover.
