Four-bedroom house, Pityme

This house is in Pityme, near Penmayne, on the North Cornwall coast, and the nearest place with its own page here is St Minver. It sleeps nine, with a kitchen, a living/dining room and a separate sitting room used as a TV snug.

The kitchen has an Everhot range, an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and coffee maker. Bedrooms are two king-size rooms, an adult twin and a family room with a children's double and a bunk, so the adult places are the king beds and the twin. Two shower rooms each have a walk-in shower, and one is a wet room. A highchair and travel cot are available.

The rear garden is enclosed, has a lawn and furniture and faces south, and a private front garden adds more space. Off-road parking takes three cars. The pub is 0.1 miles away and the shop 0.5 miles. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

It suits a family group or friends sharing nine places, and the snug lets people split up in the evening; it is less good for anyone bringing a dog. From here Rock, Polzeath, Port Isaac and Wadebridge with the Camel Trail are the day trips named for the area.
