Harbour Lights

Harbour Lights is a first-floor apartment within the Lusty Glaze development on the clifftop above Newquay, sleeping four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The building sits directly above Lusty Glaze Beach, a privately managed surf cove at the cottage of the cliffs accessible by a steep path from the complex.

The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite and opens onto the private balcony, which looks out across Newquay Bay. The twin room also has balcony doors. The open-plan living and dining area seats six at the table and carries the sea views through to the interior. The kitchen has Bosch appliances and a dishwasher. No washing machine is on site, so the apartment suits shorter breaks or guests who pack accordingly.

Tolcarne Beach is 0.5km on foot down the cliffs. Great Western Beach is 0.8km, a broad sandy stretch sheltered by headlands. The town centre of Newquay - with shops, restaurants, and the harbour - is about a mile along the coast. Fistral Beach, host to international surf competitions each year, is on the other side of the headland.

Best for: couples or small groups wanting a sea-view base above one of Newquay's quieter surf beaches, within walking distance of the town. Less good for: guests with dogs or those needing on-site parking - neither is provided.
