Hepworth

Hepworth is a single-storey three-bedroom cottage on the Gwel An Mor resort near Portreath, built with accessible design and fitted with underfloor heating, air conditioning, and an air source heat pump. The enclosed wraparound decking includes a private hot tub.

Inside, the open-plan living space has a kitchen with electric oven, hob, Nespresso machine, and dishwasher, plus a sitting area with a woodburning stove and Sonos speakers. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite walk-in shower, and two further twin rooms (one converts to king-size on request) share a bathroom with bath and shower. All three bedrooms have TVs, and there is a Smart TV in the living area.

Outside, the decking wraps around the lodge with furniture for outdoor dining. Portreath Beach is 0.8 km away, with firm sand and reliable Atlantic surf. Godrevy Beach - a wide National Trust stretch with views of Godrevy Lighthouse - is 7.9 km along the coast. On-site resort facilities include a swimming pool, golf course, and restaurant. Off-road parking and EV charging are provided.

Portreath sits in a narrow valley on the north coast, 4 miles from Redruth, at one end of the Coast to Coast mineral tramway cycle route to Devoran on the Fal estuary. The coast path from Portreath leads west towards Porthtowan through dramatic cliff scenery and old mine workings.
