Oyster Bay

Oyster Bay is a 6-bedroom detached house on Lundy Road in Port Isaac, sleeping 12 across 4 bathrooms. The cottage includes a separate cabin that provides additional sleeping accommodation, making it well suited to large groups or two families travelling together. There is a garden, an open fire, wi-fi, and parking. No dogs.

The house is spread across multiple floors. Wi-fi and a washing machine are included. The open fire in the main living room is the focal point for evenings. Four bathrooms serve the twelve guests.

Port Gaverne Beach is 200m from the front door - a sheltered cove at the mouth of a wooded valley, calmer than the exposed beaches to the north. Port Isaac village is a few minutes' walk downhill. The village has Nathan Outlaw's two-Michelin-starred restaurant (book months ahead), a fish and chip shop, the Golden Lion pub, and a small working harbour. Polzeath beach is 4.3 miles - a wide surf beach better suited to beginners and families. Changeover is Friday.

Best for large groups, multi-family bookings, or celebrations wanting a proper house with space to spread out on the north Cornwall coast. Less good for guests with dogs, or those who want ground-floor only access.
