Oyster Bay

Oyster Bay is a 6-bedroom detached house on Lundy Road in Port Isaac, sleeping 12 across 4 bathrooms. The cottage includes a separate cabin that provides additional sleeping accommodation, making it well suited to large groups or two families travelling together. There is a garden, an open fire, wi-fi, and parking. No dogs.

Port Gaverne Beach is 200m from the front door - a sheltered cove at the mouth of a wooded valley, calmer than the exposed beaches to the north. Port Isaac village is a few minutes' walk downhill. The village has Nathan Outlaw's two-Michelin-starred restaurant (book months ahead), a fish and chip shop, the Golden Lion pub, and a small working harbour. Polzeath beach is 6.9km - a wide surf beach better suited to beginners and families. Changeover is Friday.

Best for large groups, multi-family bookings, or celebrations wanting a proper house with space to spread out on the north Cornwall coast. Less good for guests with dogs, or those who want ground-floor only access.
