Trethoway is a six-bedroom cottage in Port Isaac on the north Cornwall coast, sleeping 12 across 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. The property is a terrace in the village itself, making it one of the larger self-catering options in a harbour settlement where accommodation of this size is genuinely hard to find. A wood burner provides warmth in the evenings, and the BBQ area serves the enclosed garden in summer.

Inside, the layout across multiple floors suits a group travelling together - six bathrooms means no morning queues. The top floor reportedly catches views over the rooftops. Wi-Fi and off-road parking are included, and the property accepts dogs, making it practical for mixed groups travelling with pets.

Port Gaverne Beach is 500 metres away - a sheltered cove with calm water for swimming and rock pooling. Port Isaac village itself is a working fishing harbour where boats still launch from the slipway at low tide. Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant is here, and the Fisherman's Friends sea shanty group made the village internationally known. The coast path west leads to Port Quin, about 3 miles along the cliff.

**Best for:** Large groups or multi-family bookings wanting a village base with direct access to one of north Cornwall's most distinctive harbours and a dog-friendly property of real scale.

**Less good for:** Those seeking a remote rural setting, or groups needing a hot tub or pool - neither is available here.
