Coast path cottage near Port Isaac

Lamorna is a five-bedroom cottage on Tintagel Terrace in Port Isaac, the north Cornwall fishing village known as the filming location for Doc Martin. The house sleeps 10 and sits 400m from Port Gaverne Beach, with the village harbour, pubs, and shops within a few minutes' walk.

Inside, the open-plan living space includes a kitchen with a Rangemaster oven, a dining area, and a sitting area with a wood-burning stove. A separate games room has a pool table. All five bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms - two with baths, three with walk-in showers. One bedroom is on the ground floor. There are four TVs, WiFi, and a dishwasher. A cloakroom sits off the hallway.

The enclosed rear garden is arranged over tiers with decking and outdoor furniture. Off-road parking fits one car or two smaller vehicles. Port Gaverne Beach is 400 metres away - a sheltered cove with calm water, rock pools, and kayaking. Tregardock Beach, a remote sandy stretch with surf, lies 3.3 miles along the coast. Dogs are welcome.

Port Isaac's harbour dates to the 14th century and remains a working fishing port. Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant is in the village, alongside crab-sandwich cafes and the Fisherman's Friends who sing shanties on the Platt. The coast path leads east to Port Gaverne and west to Port Quin, roughly 1.9 miles along the cliffs.

Nearby: Port Gaverne Beach (400m) and Tregardock Beach (3.3 miles). See our Port Isaac guide for more beaches and walks in the area.
