The Terrace

The Terrace is a five-bedroom cottage in Port Isaac, sleeping 10 across a super king room, three king rooms, one room that converts to twins and a double, with five bathrooms so no group has to queue for the shower. A private hot tub sits outside, and the cottage has sea views over the rooftops toward the water.

Inside, a wood burner takes the chill off cooler evenings, and the kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine for a full week's stay. WiFi, parking, a barbecue and a garden are all included, and one dog can stay.

Port Gaverne Beach is 400 metres away, a sheltered cove with calm water for swimming and kayaking and rock pools at low tide. Tregardock Beach is 3.4 miles off, a remote surf beach reached down a steep 15 to 20-minute path, and Polzeath Beach is 4.1 miles away with breaks for surfers of every level. Port Isaac itself is the working fishing village known as the filming location for Doc Martin, with Nathan Outlaw's Michelin-starred restaurant among its harbourside options and the coast path running in both directions from the slipway.

The cottage has two reviews so far, and rates start from £3,030 a week.

**Best for:** larger families or groups of friends who want five bathrooms, a private hot tub, sea views and room for one dog.

**Less good for:** guests needing EV charging or verified step-free access across a five-bedroom, multi-level cottage.
