Penny Cottage

Penny Cottage is a traditional one-bedroom fisherman's cottage by the harbour in Polperro, on the south Cornwall coast between Looe and Talland Bay. Small sandy and pebble coves sit just beyond the harbour mouth, and Talland Bay - the nearest proper swimming beach - is around two miles east.

The Blue Peter Inn and a handful of seafood cafes line the quayside. The South West Coast Path runs out in both directions towards Looe and Talland Bay, and the Eden Project is about thirty minutes by car.

Best for couples and dog owners wanting a walkable, accessible village base. Less suitable for families with children or guests who need a sandy beach within walking distance.
