Seaside

Seaside is a one-bedroom cottage for two on the Warren in Polperro, with sea and harbour views from each floor. The wood-fired hot tub in a renovated garden with a direct sea outlook puts it above the other Warren cottages along the same lane.

Inside, the layout runs a single double bedroom, one bathroom and multi-storey living spaces that make full use of the view. The kitchen and diner are on the ground floor, the living room with a wood burner is on the first floor, and the double bedroom (a 4ft 6in bed) and walk-in shower room are on the second floor. Wi-Fi, a washing machine and an open fire are included.

The garden has multiple seating areas alongside the hot tub. Parking is on site - a real practical advantage in a village where most visitor cars must be left at the top of the hill. Polperro's pubs and seafood restaurants, including the Blue Peter Inn on the quay, are a short walk.

Polperro is a pedestrian fishing village east of Looe, with a working harbour and whitewashed cottages tiered up the hillsides. The South West Coast Path leads west toward Talland Bay and east to Looe, both walkable. Changeover day is Friday.

Best for couples wanting a Polperro base with sea views and a hot tub. Less suitable for guests who need level access throughout - the Warren lane and internal stairs involve some steep climbing.
