Sunways Cottage

Sunways Cottage is a recently renovated 2-bedroom property in Polperro village, sleeping 4. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The layout has both bedrooms on the first floor, each with an en-suite shower room - an arrangement that works well for 2 couples sharing. A small front courtyard and a rear terrace provide outdoor seating. Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, and garden access are included.

Polperro is one of the tightest-packed fishing villages in Cornwall: a narrow valley with a working harbour at the bottom, surrounded by whitewashed cottages climbing the hillsides. The harbour, pubs, restaurants, and independent shops are all within a few minutes on foot. The village is traffic-controlled during summer, so cars are parked at the top and a tractor bus or walk brings you down.

Talland Bay is 1.1 miles along the coast path - a quiet, south-facing shingle and sand beach reached by steep lanes. Lekerock Cove is 1 mile. Looe, with its wider beach and more facilities, is 5 miles east by road.

Saturday changeover.

Good for couples after a village base with harbour character and coastal path access. Less good for those who want a car-accessible beach or families with mobility constraints - Polperro's hill terrain is steep throughout.
