Trekenna

Trekenna is a three-bedroom new-build holiday home in the village of Rosudgeon, sleeping 6 across two super-king zip-and-link rooms and one king. It sits on the B3280 Helston road between Marazion and Praa Sands, with distant sea views and the unusual bonus of an on-site EV charger - rare for west Cornwall.

The ground floor holds a super-king master with dressing room and en-suite shower, plus the open-plan living, kitchen and dining space and a WC. Two further bedrooms and a family bathroom sit upstairs. The living room has an open fire (check log policy with the owner). Wi-Fi, dishwasher and washing machine are provided. Two small or medium-size dogs are welcome.

Outside, a garden gives a practical sitting-out space and there is ample off-road private parking. Rosudgeon village has the Packet Inn and a Co-op convenience store within a short walk.

Marazion Beach and Praa Sands are both around 2 miles by car: Marazion for views of St Michael's Mount and the causeway at low tide, Praa Sands for a broad sweep of sand and beachside cafes. Prussia Cove sits closer still, a sheltered rocky inlet on the South West Coast Path, and the sandy crescent at Perranuthnoe is also nearby. Penzance is 6 miles west with mainline rail to London (around 5 hours) and ferry and helicopter links to the Isles of Scilly.

Best for EV drivers and dog owners who want a base near Marazion and Praa Sands. Guests with access requirements should confirm the entrance and bathroom arrangements with Cornish Traditional Cottages before booking. Less good for anyone who wants to walk to a beach from the door.
