A private hot tub in the garden seats four and is included in the price. A BBQ is available for outdoor cooking on dry evenings. Up to 3 dogs are accepted, making this one of the higher dog allowances for a 4-person property in the county.

The nearest coast is 13km south: Readymoney Cove at Fowey is the closest sandy beach, with Carlyon Bay at 13.4km and Lantic Bay at 13.8km. Cardinham Woods - which has 6 waymarked trails, a mountain bike loop, and a cafe - is 3.5 miles from the cottage. Bodmin town centre is a 10-minute drive for supermarkets, pubs, and the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway, which runs a full timetable from April to October. Bodmin Moor walking routes are accessible within 20 minutes.

Best for dog owners wanting a rural base with a hot tub, easy access to Cardinham Woods, and day-trip range to south Cornwall beaches. Less good for anyone wanting to walk to the sea or a pub without a car.
