Woolstone Farmhouse

Woolstone Farmhouse is a four-bedroom period house near Jacobstow and Bude, sleeping eight guests across three bathrooms. Two bedrooms are doubles, one is a twin, and the fourth has a king-size zip-and-link bed that can be split into twins on request, a useful option for mixed groups.

The farmhouse sits on a private leisure complex with an on-site tennis court, indoor swimming pool and hot tub, plus a wood burner for cooler evenings. These shared facilities make it more self-contained than a typical coastal cottage. Wi-Fi, parking, a barbecue and garden are included, and up to three dogs can stay. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, and a feature fireplace with an Aga. A second lounge, the snug, has an electric fire.

Widemouth Bay is 1.5 miles away, Millook Beach is 2.7 miles and Summerleaze Beach, with its tidal sea pool in Bude, is 3.2 miles. Bedroom floors, steps and bathroom adaptations aren't detailed, so guests with mobility needs should ask before booking.

**Best for:** families or friends wanting an indoor pool, hot tub, tennis court and flexible sleeping for up to three dogs.

**Less good for:** guests needing step-free access confirmed in advance.
