The Armchair Adventure Festival 2025

Description
The Armchair Adventure Festival 2025 returns from July 24 to 27 at the stunning Mount Edgcumbe Country Park in Cornwall. Overlooking the coast, this one-of-a-kind outdoor festival celebrates adventure, exploration, and the outdoors with four days of live talks, workshops, and entertainment. Expect to hear inspiring stories from world-class adventurers and explorers who’ve crossed continents, climbed peaks, and journeyed to the edges of the earth.
But it’s not just about listening—you can dive into the action with a variety of hands-on activities like paddleboarding (sometimes with dolphins!), wild swimming, foraging, mountain biking, and tree climbing. The festival also introduces the Armchair Adventure Cinema, showcasing short films and full-length documentaries focused on global travel and extreme journeys—perfect for recharging between adventures.
Sustainability and community are core to the event, with every ticket helping to fund reforestation and grassroots adventure initiatives like the #GetOutDoStuff grant. Adventure gear, local food stalls, and live music round out the experience. Whether you're an armchair traveler looking for inspiration or an adrenaline-seeker ready to move, AAF 2025 offers the perfect mix of exploration, learning, and fun in one of Cornwall’s most scenic locations.
